Still computation error after Show graphics in Work pane:
resultid=427671

Same if screensaver viewed:
resultid=427677

Running ATI Rage 128 Ultra here, but 4.61 had this problem with all my video cards.

After calling graphic, exiting BOINC and restarting, yello restarts and finishes ok.
Also see the attempts of slot cleanup with this round.
yello exe and files disappear from slot after finishing computations.
Strangely even before successful upload or report.
No real need for more interesting graphics. Lots of other stuff going on here to keep our skulls busy!

Happens with 4.32 also.
After initial computation error all other yello in queue are recorded as 0 cpu time.
Big drag ?cause me thinks ?0 cpu? bug is actually another bug squashed with this update but is being masked with this new bug that Pirates may have discovered.
If i don?t get computation error all wu report cpu time.

BOINC News
May 14, 2005
Eric Myers and Charlie Fenton have written excellent documents on how to compile BOINC and BOINC applications on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

Very nice.

I am confused. Was 4.66 released in February and old by now?

This is a great reference for future BOINC project developers.
Any plans to keep this page (and others) online for the long-term?

I noticed this last night also. Check out this Pirate wu result:
resultid=409136
Same BURP stderr_txt in computation errors for all Pirates wu on that host until I reboot and download new wu?s. (First instinct for Win98 user.)
This is the BURP wu:
resultid=19487

Only after reboot do I think to look in slots directory.
I see no evidence of BURP slot other than .blender folder in Pirate slot.
I now remember browsing through another hosts slots after downloading new BURP exe and seeing no evidence of a previous Pirates slot and suspecting BURP of taking over this slot.
I have seen the .blender in other projects slots.
It seems what happened here was BOINC downloads BURP which busts into slot already occupied by Pirates. BURP wu finishes computation and BOINC uploads and reports.
Some hours later Pirates is downloaded and uses its slot which is now occupied by BURP files that have left behind.

Very cool!
Noticed a few zero cpu with BOINC 4.35 and 4.37 also.
If it goes away with hello 4.59 you will confirm Paul D. Buck hit the nail on the head again.
'0 cpu' problem solved? (LHC forum)
