I agree, however, if you keep the encoded data, it will be quite
difficult to keep up.
Anyway, all new things coming out which
would be worthwhile to make them known to others, I'll be alert. I hope.
;-)
Sometimes a direct mail will do it better.

Not a problem. Thanks for doing this. Of course now you are

Well Eric I am sorry
if I was too fast, but by now it has been read already by quite a few
spanish speaking visitors to our web page where the translation is ready
including all the graphics. You might like to see it by visiting Here

That
would be wonderful, when that page is done. Thank you.
The reason
for a "secret" link to the screensaver description is that it is still
a draft and not ready for general public distribution. But since the
curious crew have discovered it, feedback is welcomed, as well as
volunteers to transtlate it to other languages once it is
done.

Yes, that is
what I have seen, so now Capt'n 'Eagle Eye' requests permission to
translate for ye mates of the Spanish world, all of the description of the
Einstein@Home Screensaver.
Next step will be to find out that
oddity that is being hiden behind thy courtains!

Strange... another secret link just for that document. Shouldn't that
be in the section "BOINC Developers' Notes" or something like
that? ________________________________________________

Liberto [Valencia] spotted open access. Probably NeoGen was right and
one of the many things to be reset after site upgrade wasn't got to till a
few hours ago. Sunday morning! Look for access next upgrade. But for
now this is what the main page looked like. Of course the
links are no longer accessible.

After I read what you
said I tried and made it too. Maybe with the site upgrade to Boinc 4.57
the username/password system was
removed. ________________________________________________

Today I was lucky enough to enter into that page. It just has all the
controls of everything that has been sent, received, good and bad, whose
mistake, etc, etc, etc. One small data example follows:
PROJECT
SUMMARY
Users: 2476 Computers: 3879 Teams: 216
Maybe some of us are being considered harmless and they let us
in!

Anyone seen the movie called "The Net." It reminds me of something
similar in that
movie. _________________________________________________

Many weeks ago this page was accessible to public (probably an
oversight). Just a glorified server status page with detailed info on
WU progress. Seems a place where dev team can log on remotely to learn
how BOINC is dealing with Pirate apps.

It is also on the pirate symbol just below the title block at the top
of same main page and just to the right of server status.

What is that tiny little character on the bottom of the main webpage,
on the lower right corner, just below the scrolling "future
sponsors"?
It points to the link:
http://pirates.vassar.edu/ops which is only accesible to "Captain and
Officers of Pirates@Home" lol (asks for username and
password)
Secret entrance to the treasure chest room?
lol
