Pirates@Home is a test of BOINC, the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing. One goal of the project is to help develop a screensaver for Einstein@Home. At present Pirates@Home is not doing any real scientific computation. We are just having fun with BOINC. You can read more here.

    After the upgrade posting to the forums seems to be broken. We're looking into the problem...

    The project web site has been upgraded to BOINC version 4.54. Let us know (via the forums) if you see anything wrong.
